Whats happening with the globe We wonder. The snow in Central Europe is surely not what it used to be. The snow conditions seems to get worse every year. However, in Midsweden we have perfect conditions for sleddog training and races already in November and December. The last 10 years the competitions held in our area, have been completed on high quality trails.
The trails at Camp Dannevall are of high standard because of the excellent snow conditions, and because they are beeing prepared by professional dog people. The trail system was established many years back, and has been maintained for the purpose of training large teams. This ensures the optimal training conditions and is a guarantee for safe mushing. The trails brings you through the woods. All trails start at Camp Dannevall and varies in distance from 5 to 50 km without doing any loops. And since it is located in the forrest - away from neighbors, you can train your dogs at all hours.
There is a huge illuminated stakeout area right behind the camp.
Dog kennels:
There is a law in Sweden, that dogs must be held in kennels during training periods. We can provide kennels for your dogs, built acording to all saftey rules, for sleddogs.
Kennels for your dogs can be hired. Please contact us for prices, as it varies depending on how many dogs you have.
