Lċngan the location of Camp Danneval - is not only known worldwide for the beautiful nature, but also for the large on-going project to preserve and protect the River LĊNGAN. This project has seen to that the waters are being brought back to its original path through intense work from the municipality.
The river is rich on salmon, char and grayling, and is suitable for flyfishing and angling. In the winter ice fishing is also extremely popular here.

The hunting game in the area is mainly birds such as capercailzie and black grouse. Of course the moose and roe deer hunting is also popular. The hunts here are all guided to avoid the risk of anyone getting lost in the huge forests.
