	Sled dog training camp for mushers Come and train your dogs in Scandinavian winter. We offer high standard living accommodation, groomed trails of up to 50 km, a large stake-out area for your dogs and service facilities such as a heated kitchen where you can dry your dogs' harnesses and prepare dog food. The trail starts directly from the Camp and leads you over swamps and through forests. It makes for perfect sprint and middle distance training as the terrain is flat and mostly open. The trails are made in such a way that head on passing is avoided. Since we groom the trails daily, the surface is in the best possible condition. Be sure to book your accommodation for the 2008 WSA Sleddog World Championships in time. Prepare your team in the best possible way and enjoy the training facilities of Camp Dannevall.
	Sled dog rides For those who want to get an impression of what sled dog driving is about, we offer 1-hour sled dog rides. Be a passenger on one of the comfortable toboggan sleds of the camp. You will sit on soft reindeerskins while the sled is being pulled by a dozen eager Siberian Huskies from one of Scandinavia's most known sled dog kennels: 'av Vargevass'. Kjell Dannevall is your host. He knows the trails around the Camp in detail and can tell you about the wildlife and fauna of the Långan river area. You will get to experience the enthusiasm and energy of the Camp's canine inhabitants at close. The well prepared trails are a great scene for the dog's running abilities and with it you get to see some of Jämtlands wilderness. Rides are optimum for individuals or couples. Small groups are being accepted when booked few weeks in advance.
	Fishing If you are a fan of fishing, Camp Dannevall is the right place to be. The Långan river, which flows in the direct vicinity of the camp is rich of fish. Especially trout and grayling thrive in these waters. At the Camp, you can buy a fishing permit for 1 day or 1 week. Fly-fishing, angling, spinning, jig-fishing or ice fishing in winter, it is up to you.
	Canoeing Wild streaming brooks and rivers, calm lakes, rapids and falls…....... The river Långan near the camp, joins Indalsälven together with the river Nävran and offers calm waters as well as rapids of varying difficulty. A challenge to both the beginning and more experienced canoeer. You can either bring your own kayak or canoe or rent one of the kayaks at the camp.
	Hiking Jämtland is rich of forest and that goes the same for the vicinity of Camp Dannevall. The terrain is flat and easy accessable, but should you want more view and hills, the nearby mountain area of Ansätten is just perfect. A cross marked trail of 6 km. from Bakvattnet to the top of Ansätten (1091 mt.) with 26 information signs, gives you a good impression of Jämtland's rich flowerworld with at least 290 different kinds. You can take a dog from the camp with as hiking companion.
	Hot tubbing Whatever activity you have been out on, nothing goes above a hot bath in open air afterwards.
